Lazy Registration
Das wird bestimmt eines der neuen Schlagwörter, vielleicht auch bald im E-Commerce: “Lazy Registration”, wo ich hier 12 Excellent Examples of “Lazy Registration” darauf gestoßen bin. Sie definieren es als
Lazy registration is a process that allows the prospective user to test out many of the core features, save her sessions and data, and then when she’s ready to sign up everything is ported to her “new” account. Lazy registration is a way to allow users to try the site out before they sign up, no strings attached.
Statt einer statischen Seite, die auf die Vorteile des Shops hinweist, kann man es einfach ausprobieren bzw. gleich nutzen. Die technischen Aspekte lasse ich jetzt mal außen vor. Es stellt sich nur die Frage, warum man dann noch registrierte Nutzer braucht, wenn man sich sowieso alles merkt:
Lazy registration removes the barrier of entry into the site, as registered and non-registered are able to do the same things.
